Harrison, Todd and I made our way three hours north to Chico, CA to see my roommates from college for the night. Angie and Aaron just moved back to the Bay area with
their twins and Erika and Peter and
their two kids live in Dallas, TX. We all (
Ang, E, Peter, and Aaron) went to Marquette together and Peter and Aaron went to high school together in Chico. So they were all in Chico visiting family and we went along for a big cookout yesterday. Aaron's parent have a great house and lots of land with chickens, a goat, a lamb and, of course, dogs. So it was lot
of fun for all of the kids...The BBQ was crazy - there were about 11 kids under the age of 6 running
around screaming! Boy have things have changed!!

Time to eat...
Maddie (angie's neice), Paige (erika's oldest), Bella (angie's other neice), Olivia and Abigail (angie's twins) - there were two others eating that did not make the pic - Ben (angie's nephew) and Hunter (erika's son).
Erika, Ang and I left the kids with the boys this morning and went to breakfast so that we could have a little time to catch up!! It was a great weekend! I feel so lucky to have such great lifelong friends from college. We can just pick up where we left off and not miss a beat. And an added bonus we are so happy to have the Rodens back in the bay area!!! Yay!

Here are a few more pics from the BBQ....

Unfortunately we did not get any pics with the animals or us girls and our kids together. Next time!!
